The structure of Existential theory is based on 4 givens, or perhaps the structure of existence. There are different catalogs and list surveying these basic lifestyle conditions: that individuals are all likely to die, than in decisive moments we are exclusively, that we have flexibility to choose each of our life, and that we struggle to create which means in a world in which our life meaning is certainly not given in advance (yalom 1980).
In looking at these four conditions to find out how they match my perception system and if it would help me counsel my own clients. I actually don't actually know how I would personally focus on the first that we are typical going to die. I personally may spend a lot of your energy and energy thinking about fatality. That's probably because Ive got a lot of specific beliefs that have place that situation to rest, in least personally. However I do believe that I could offer some good understanding and a great empathetic headsets to a customer who was asking such inquiries, and hopefully try and help them find their own way, which I think is the foundation to get the freedom to decide on and creating meaningful lifestyle.
Existential isolation refers to the fact that no matter how close we may get ourselves to another person, there is a fundamental separateness that we are unable to remove. This ultimate alonesess of the human condition is the fact we enter and keep the world exclusively despite each of our best wishes (Bauman & Waldo, 1998)
Again I think that this condition can be not some thing to be dreaded. Many persons would rather avoid talking about and relating these kinds of basic circumstances of fatality and remoteness, but this kind of fact does not weaken their impact it strengthens them. By dealing with these issues using a client, it will help build re-pore and accord, and creates common surface. Because many of us have to encounter these circumstances, I think this is a good place to be around a client.
